It's just a gnulib testdir with all modules.

$ ./gnulib-tool --create-testdir --with-tests --dir=../build

The script then runs configure, make (succeeds in this case) followed by 
make distcheck.

It runs on CentOS 5 but uses local copies of the autotools:
