On PPC Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5.8) I started to build findutils 4.7.0 in
MacPorts again. In GNU Emacs I had one window showing the build
directory and one *compilation* buffer. Approximately eight minutes
after the build started (MacPorts needed the first two minutes to set
itself up) were the directories confdir-14B--- and confdir3 created.
Approximately thirteen minutes later the build process stopped because
configure failed to remove the two directories:
