You don't give much information here. Please send us the EXACT error, 
including at least the previous 5-10 lines of make output.

I'll just  guess from what I can understand that you need to do this:

make LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

which is due to a bug in make on your system.
