Follow-up Comment #13:
To me this looks like you get the wrong window border computation when
working on the remote display. I just don't understand why this could happen.
The values that get ignored are from a reparent event, could you please try to
debug that? I have no clue, what is going on there.
It also seem to be related to something that is inside your defaults file.
Perhaps you shoudl try again an report the values that end up in your
.GNUstepDefaults in either case.
