Details:

Hi,

i have old rh7 machine with updates from redhat.

I had to compile new version of grep.

Compilation went good - 2.5, 2.5.1 and 2.5.1a.

configure script was called with:
--prefix=/usr
--disable-largefile
--disable-nls

But after:
address@hidden grep-2.5]# ./src/grep
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

 strace ./src/grep
execve("./src/grep", ["./src/grep"], [/* 24 vars */]) = 0
uname({sys="Linux", node="testosteron", ...}) = 0
