I hope he takes it, maybe after tweaks of course.

 . ^O^I text  -  search id= "text"
 . ^O^N       -  search next OSC 8 link aka _URI_
 . ^O^P       -  search previous OSC 8 link aka _URI_
 . ^O^O       -  open current OSC 8 link aka _URI_ with LESSOSC8OPEN
environment variable content; if unset, support man: style links out of the
box.

Please consider adding id= support for grotty, so that macro writers can put
only id=s for anchors, only links for references, and combinations with id=
and link, too!
