$ printf 'a\n' | groff -z -Tpdf -C
/usr/share/groff/1.22.4/tmac/pdf.tmac:32: error: end of file while defining
macro 'pd'
$ sed -n '32p' /usr/share/groff/1.22.4/tmac/pdf.tmac
.de pdf:SS
I don't see why geriatric *roff documents shouldn't be able to
be prepared for PDF output.
I expect that all there is to this is to add compatibility mode
guards like so many other of our macro files (and man pages)
have.
Will work on it.
