Follow-up Comment #6:

No feedback from submitter, ever, in over a year.

We have much more recent evidence that groff Git is building on macOS; see bug
#66479.  Several other recent commits have made us much more careful about
header file inclusion, not least "config.h".

Closing as inadequately reported and thus impossible to act upon.
