How hard a limit is the 62-sector limit? (I wish to use this information in composing a patch to the Debian FAI maintainer which enhances the GRUB-compatability of the FAI disk-partitioning automation tools.) Can we assume that GRUB's stage1_5 and stage2 loaders will never be intentionally distributed in a form larger than 62 sectors?
