Hi.
I only have read your last post on the subject, so I am not sure if I
am writing anything valuable to you, but I got RH7.1 coexist with WinXP
Home (VFAT). I have the following in my grub.conf:
--->
default=0
timeout=6
splashimage=(hd0,2)/boot/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title Red Hat Linux
root (hd0,2)
kernel /boot/vmlinuz ro root=/dev/hda3 vga=extended apm=power_off
title Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,1)
makeactive
chainloader +1
<---
Notice the makeactive. I do not remember what it does (well it makes
the selected partition active but what does that mean?) and noticed that
this is missing in your grub.conf. Might that be the missing piece?
Sincerely,
