Follow-up Comment #3:
It has been now fixed to disable the single user entry.
The variable is called GRUB_DISABLE_LINUX_RECOVERY="true"
I don't know why you say that the 2nd Debian bug report contains a patch to
include full support for multiple kernel entrys with different options.
There isn't any in the Debian bug report.
