Follow-up Comment #1:
Having same UUID for 2 different filesystems is recognised as an error and not
running FS-specific tool to change UUID after clonning is a mistake. The disk
IDs available through BIOS are unreliable. Having such extension is possible
as long as it's not increasing the size of critical modules but it's minor.
So this makes it a feature request with minor priority.
