Details:

I don't know if it is driver problem but my other programs work well with the
flashdrive.
Just grub-probe causes this strange bug:
first grub-probe hangs then either the device disappears for the other
programs or a partition is displayed with the fantastic size of some terabyte
(by palimpsest).
It is only one flashdrive from which I know such a behaviour but I think it
exist more of them.
The error causing flashdrive is a "Intenso Rainbow Line" with a size of 16 GB.
On this flashdrive is only a ext4 filesystem. The stick has a msdos partion
table.
The grub version I use is 2.00 rc1 (arch linux).

I found some grub-probe targets which work well with the flashdrive:

grub-probe -t drive -d /dev/sdd1
grub-probe -t msdos_parttype -d /dev/sdd1
grub-probe -t cryptodisk_uuid -d /dev/sdd1

but not:
grub-probe -t fs_uuid -d /dev/sdd1
grub-probe -t fs -d /dev/sdd1
grub-probe -t abstraction -d /dev/sdd1
