Follow-up Comment #4, bug #38929 (project grub):

I have a patch somewhere which progressively simplifies menu when screen is
too small. Changing font is troublesome since menu rendering and terminal are
different layers abstracted from each other. And similar problem may happen
with other terminals as well.
