Follow-up Comment #2:
chainloader is a specific protocol for loading bootsectors. It needs a damn
good reason to be modified for this and most likely it will not be
chainloading anymore. Look at freedos and ntldr/bootmgr loaders. Closing this.
If you have a usecase, feel free to respond and I'll consider reopening.
