Thanks for the bug report.
Given that the code works on other platforms, I would suspect a compiler
problem. Can you try recompiling without optimisation?
If that does not work, perhaps you could look at the actual values in
check_full() in sum/test.c.
Unfortunately I have no way test directly on any MIPS machine myself.
