It looks like the directory where Guix was attempting to store the
checkout of guile-gcrypt disappeared under its feet.  I wonder if this
could be due to parallel builds (“make check -j”).

Does it work if you run this test specifically?

  make check TESTS=tests/guix-build-branch.sh

?

Regardless, this is a harmless issue.
