Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.  I didn't quote the rest of Aaron's message
where he addresses that.  I should have known better than to actually
try to simplify anything.  I give up.

The whole point, as I understand it, is that it's *not fraudulent*.  Why
else would that paragraph be in maintain.texi?  But anyway, since you
view this as a stopper, I guess I now have to raise it with SFLC.  Sigh,
sigh, sigh.

    Perhaps the issues of criminal penalties and repositories could help
    us change rms's mind at some point?  

What do you want to propose?  I'm afraid that I have no idea what you
want at this point ...

Yes, we certainly are.  Every change leads to more questions and
counter-arguments, and I see no end in sight.
