I'd like to make a release in the next few weeks,
and it'd be good to include this.
Your contribution is large enough that it requires
copyright paperwork. Here are pointers:

Can you do that?
Also, any new feature like this should be accompanied by an
addition to the test suite that exercises it. Would you like
to write that?
