term echoes the second ^O, which enables output again:
in munge.c:
if (CCEQ (cc[VDISCARD], c))
{
if (termflags & FLUSH_OUTPUT)
termflags &= ~FLUSH_OUTPUT;
else
{
drop_output ();
termflags |= FLUSH_OUTPUT;
}
}
Shouldn't this be:
if (CCEQ (cc[VDISCARD], c))
{
drop_output ();
if (termflags & FLUSH_OUTPUT)
termflags &= ~FLUSH_OUTPUT;
else
termflags |= FLUSH_OUTPUT;
}
Stevens says everything but newlines and carriage returns are discarded.
