GNU/Hurd on PPC

Hello all,

I recently discovered the GNU Project has actually released a kernel, 
and I was quite eager to install it on my little iMac here, but then I 
noticed there's not a PowerPC port just yet. Can anyone tell me if 
anything is being done to develop such a port?
