Yeah, I know.
I only suppose they developed it mainly using GNU/Linux.

It's probably possible, but you'll have to link against MBs of libraries.
And linking against libbonobo is only useful for a GNOME program.
It would be better if libgnomevfs didn't depend on any library but libc or
similar stuff.
