After a long discussion several important issues have been discussed.
Even promises have been made.  I am curious about the following
things:

1) When will Thomas Schwinge get CVS commit rights.
2) Who is in teer 1 now?
3) Who will get teer 1 access? Alfred? Thomas Schwinge?

For me the last issue is the most important.  It's unfortunate that it
takes a long time before patches are committed.  I personally prefer
that patches that are perhaps less perfect will get committed instead
of catching dust.  Having for example Alfred's as the person who judges
if a patch meets the required quality seems fine to me.  Although I do
not agree with his opinion all the time, he does know most technical
issues required for that job.

If not, I think we all end up using the ams-branch or letting the Hurd
die.
