Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15295 (project hurd):
Note that this depends on patch #4737 for proper user TSS functionning.
Marcus' proposed file #3216 does fix the issue indeed. But of course then
neither the console nor Xorg work any more (illegal instruction), and
i386_io_port_add() still fails. A simple solution for now could be to open
the iopl device, which gives access to a collection of allowed ports (see
gnumach/i386/i386at/iopl.c).
