Linus thinks that his way is the only good way. Every other way is wrong and
therefore idiotic. That's why he says that Mach and FreeBSD people are
idiots. When Linus says idiot, you should understand it as "someone who
thinks different from Linus".

Why do you bother replying to Linus's mambo-jumbo tautologies without a proof?
I have looked several conversations with Linus on various topics (most
recently about his disapproval of GPLv3). His way of reasoning and talking
with people can best be described with a saying: "I have already made my
mind. Don't confuse me with facts!".
