Hi hurd guys
The promise of easy compilation of hurd/mig is a lay. I am desperate
How can you lure more developers to hurd if the novice has to struggle
with the compilation.
Very badly documented hurd/mig. No working instructions.
Can anyone send the instructions or develop a script of how can I
compile MiG/hurd?
I prefer just one bash script, which will work on debian/etch from scratch.
Please test it before send it.
Dont speak lengthy what or how it should work, just send a working script.
I tried next, but still it doesn't work
mkdir hurd-old
cd hurd-old
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/hurd co .
cd mig
running the next compile-mig script:
#cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/hurd co .
#####cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/sources/hurd
co -r gnumach-1-branch .
cp ../gnumach/install-sh build-aux
cp ../gnumach/config.guess build-aux
cp ../gnumach/config.sub build-aux
cp ../gnumach/INSTALL ./
touch build-aux/depcomp
touch build-aux/missing
aclocal
autoconf
automake
./configure
