Your request is quite unspecific. I can try to dig up some links for the
disk I/O stuff later this week, but most of the discussions happened on
IRC. About the NFS stuff, I don't really know much at all.

Could you please come up with a list of more specific questions, what
information are you missing from the project ideas list?
