Hm... I have a conceptual question, then: do I understand it right
that unionmount will become a kind of a child project of unionfs?

And another one (not conceptual already): does having a Savannah
account suffice to create a new branch in the existing unionfs
repository?

OK, that's not a problem. We are meeting on Tuesday, May 19, and it's
not that far away :-)

In the meantime, I'll have a look at dir_lookup problem and stuff in
nsmux, and into the features of unionfs which we could strip down for
unionmount.
