Yes, I'm myself not entirely happy with the wording.
e227 is the last CVS commit. So indeed *after* that one the pure Git
ones begin. (Obviously we can't know the SHA1 of the commit
to-be-created, so we can't use that one as ``starting with''.) Or is
there some flaw in my logic?
