Update of bug #11509 (project hurd):

                  Status:               Confirmed => Fixed                  
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed                 
Wiki-like text discussion box:                         => We worked on
fakeroot quite a bit, and do use it on the Debian build daemons nowadays.
