Hi David,
just FYI:
if you are looking into restructuring indent.
When I was browsing the web on Friday, I also found GCC_XLM at
http://public.kitware.com/GCC_XML/
One could use gcc itself to do the parsing and then just write the
formatting.

Ingmar,
Carlo has just handed maintenance of the GNU-indent tool over to me. As
yet I
am learning my way around the code and am not yet in a position to make
any
promises about enhancements to the tool. Bearing that in mind, while the
present indent was not designed to support C++, I see no reason why that
should continue to be the case.
First, however, I need to understand the code and solve some outstanding
problems that indent has with plain old C code.
Please note the new address for mailing communication about indent:
address@hidden
Kind Regards,
David Ingamells
