Lilypod is not working w/MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

Hi,


I am a MacBook user running macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I have downloaded
Lilypod, but when I try to run the program I get the following error:

     "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version
of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."


I've read the archive emails regarding this issue. There was a suggestion
to download :

Which I did, but the Mac won't let me use it saying: “LilyPond cannot be
opened because the developer cannot be verified."


I've downloaded Macports as well, that was another suggestion but I have no
idea how to use it to make Lilypod work.


Could you please help me solve this problem?
