Hi,
To summarize a long story, Debian has never shipped mailutils with
PostgreSQL support due to OpenSSL and GPL license incompatibilities.
This changed recently when the Debian ftpmaster team started
considering OpenSSL a "system library", which is one of the exceptions
in the GPL that would allow linking.
That said, my build was failing with a simple
"fatal error: libpq-fe.h: No such file or directory"
Does anyone else compile PostgreSQL support in?
I find that this trivial patch fixes it, but I am puzzled that nobody
else has stumbled upon this until now.
