Hello,
My name is Adrian Maier and I am new to this mailing list. I have joined
because I am experiencing some strange problems regarding ncurses 5.3
vs 5.4.
"5.4" could refer to the release version, or to any of several development
patches. What is the NCURSES_VERSION_PATCH defined to in curses.h ?
For 5.4-release, there was some problems with the legacy (non-locale)
implementation of 8-bit characters. Aside from that, nothing comes to
mind as a general problem. But with some more details, I may be able to
point out whether it was a known problem (and fixed), or some other issue.
If you're compiling from source, you may want to test with the first
rollup patch, e.g.,
