Hello,
On 1. April "date" has a strange behaviour. When I set the date to 1. APR
00:00 and ask for the last month, date behaves like it is march.
One hour later it works as expected.
As this behaviour happens only on 1. APR i guess it has something to do with
daylight saving in some region?
date -s "1 APR 2010 00:10:00"
echo `(date -d"1 month ago" "+%Y-%m")`"-21 00:00:00"
2010-11-21 00:00:00
date -s "1 APR 2010 01:10:00"
echo `(date -d"1 month ago" "+%Y-%m")`"-21 00:00:00"
2010-03-21 00:00:00
date --version
date (GNU coreutils) 8.4
TZ='Europe/Vienna'
2.6.32-3-686-bigmem
