For the benefit of ppl who couldn't be bothered looking at the jpeg:
It basically says that partition 8 has it's LBA and CHS values
mismatching. This is a really stupid error message, because the
CHS values correspond to the magic for an LBA partition.
Since you obviously have LBA support, I think the best solution
is to make partition 8 and partition 9 LBA. (What partition tool
did you use to make those partitions, BTW? They should have been
created with the LBA flag) Setting LBA on them should make
Windows / partition magic / everyone ignore the CHS values.
In parted, do:
(parted) set 8 lba on
(parted) set 9 lba on
Please tell me how this goes!
BTW: I suspect Partition Magic will have no problems fixing the
problem. What it is saying looks sensible (although unintelligible
to the casual user, hehe)
Thanks!
Andrew
