libparted bindings to perl5 & Co

Hi parted hackers,

This message is to let you know my intent of writing perl bindings to
libparted, using swig, so that it can be used by FAI (fully automated
install for Debian).  Unless someone tells me this has already been
started, that is :)

I'll announce here when I have something to play with.  Would it be
something that should be included into the parted package itself, or
would you see it better as an independant thing ?
