Mathieu Bruneau <address@hidden> writes:* Is there a way to access the repository without a developer account ? (read-only/anonymous access). There was instruction on how to do this with cvs so people could get the source and send patch without being a real developer. At the same time, is there a web interface to browser? I haven't see it in the parted's alioth pageYes. You can use: svn checkout svn://svn.alioth.debian.org/svn/parted/upstream parted* Concerning the manual update, is there a more up to date version in the repository ? If yes, no problem when I have access to, i'll update it the one on the website =)I don't know any about it. :(
After getting access to the repository, the manual seems to have been updated a week ago, I'll look into putting a fresh version the website this afternoon for sure!
* Concerning the automatic update, the gnu website doesn't use any dynamic thing, it's basically a checkout of a html page inside cvs. If you have any suggestion on this, we can look into it for sure :)Well, we can have a cronjob that update those files based on a branch. So we only need to tag the new manual release and upload new file with the version number. What do you think about it?
The manual must be build in a variety of format, not sure if this is all automated (I never built it yet) and I guess a lot of error may shows up during the tex processing but it's a thing we may look into!
