linux ~ # parted /dev/sda unit co print unit s print
Error: The backup GPT table is not at the end of the disk, as it
should be. This might mean that another operating system believes
the disk is smaller.
Fix, by moving the backup to the end (and removing the old backup)?
Fix/Cancel? Fix
Error: SEGV_MAPERR (Address not mapped to object)Aborted
Downloading and building the pre-release candidate fixed the issue.
1. 3ware controller with 3 500 GB disks in RAID 5 (1 TB)
2. Add extra disk, expanding volume.
3. parted 1.7.1 exploded as seen above.
4. Compile pre-release version, Fix/Fix, and now 1.7.1 works.
