The recent release of serveez-0.2.2 prompted me to try things again. I
tracked down the failures I was seeing before in t004; I just had to
replace a "/bin/sh" in t004's generated cgi script with something more
friendly to Guix. Sorry to raise flags on a red herring.
No worries. I suspected something along those lines.
On a positive note, I now have serveez packaged for Guix. :)

Cool. I see in the resulting package description that you need to
substitute "/bin/sh" w/ the output of ‘(which "sh")’. At "make check"
time, could you use the env var ‘SHELL’ (or ‘CHECKSHELL’), instead?
If so, i can change that in the source, to reduce the patching required
for Guix. (Generally, i am happy to accomodate changes to reduce
patching, if they are easy to implement and do not break things for
other systems.)
