Almost everything seems to be in order; changes included (I made minor
adjustments, such as removing your debug-printf's and making mode_t
const).
set_file_perms() is a great improvement compared to copy_file_modes(),
we should migrate all the programs to use this, and make sure all files
are created with permissions 400 by default. Paranoia is good.
Oh, and I like the fact that you sent one diff/file. Just the way I
want it.
