Hi
Just downloaded and made GNU TAR 1.14 on my Solaris box.
I noticed that --checkpoint in fact prints a message every 10 blocks, rather
than when it encounters a directory.
This is contrary to the documentation, both the online stuff, and when using
the --help option.
