[Bug-tar] --create --verify fails with >2GB files

Hi, all.

I've run into a problem running 'tar cvvWf' if archive
members are larger than 2GB.  Here's an example of the
error generated (I've separated the output lines to
increase readability in the face of wordwrap):

Creating and extracting archives containing large
files without --verify works fine.
