Subject: | [Bug-tar] bsdtar crashes with long file paths |

Forgive me if this is not the most appropriate place to ask a question about bsdtar. Does anyone here know a workaround for the issue of long file paths in bsdtar. i.e. bsdtar crashes if the location of the folder to compress has a long path. I know that the new posix format does not have file path limitations like the gnu format which bsdtar uses by default. But I haven't been able to figure out how to fix this in bsdtar. bsdtar is at http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/libarchive.htm ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better pen pal.
