hello
my OS is ubuntu 9.10
i have reported this bug in "launchpad":
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/file-roller/+bug/668661 :
> i have file which name is
> SED: How can I replace a newline (\n)? - Stack Overflow.html
> i cannot create tar.gz archive from it with file-roller, it says:
> tar: SED\: How can I replace a newline (\n)? - Stack Overflow.html:
> Cannot stat: No such file or directory
> tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
>
> but file with name
> SED: How can I replace a newline (\n)? - Stack Overflow.html.tar.gz
> is create, but its size is 45 bytes. ( it should be larger, because
> original is near 60 KB file with html/text content. )
then i asked for help in ##linux channel in "freenode", i tried tab
completion - same bug:
tar -cf x.tar /home/dinar/Документы/SED\:\ How\ can\ I\ replace\ a\
newline\ \(\\n\)\?\ -\ Stack\ Overflow.html
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names
tar: /home/dinar/Документы/SED\: How can I replace a newline (\n)? -
Stack Overflow.html: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors
the end of bug report )
