Hi,
In the first paragraph of `info tar changes` there is this
link: http://www.gnu.org/software/tar/manual/changes.html.
It results in a 404.
The most likely intended target of the link is:
https://www.gnu.org/software/tar/manual/html_node/Changes.html
But I don't think it is useful that an appendix of the user's
local manual refers to an online copy of itself that contains
the exact same information -- it only wastes time and causes
confusion. Better drop the reference entirely?
