I tried to reproduce the issue from the sources, both in the release and
the dev branch and I can't. My guess is that it is indeed an issue with
help2man as the headers shows:
.\" DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE! It was generated by help2man 1.49.3.
I use a debian testing.
This issue seems to be in the sources tarball. My wild guess is that
Gavin uses an older help2man with that issue.
