The change and result looks good to me.

To me, not having maintained translations is problematic, we can reuse
previous translations in that case, but it is not viable in the long
term.  I have no idea on how the translation project works, but maybe
this is more a matter of finding new maintainers.  Maybe we can report
problematic cases somewhere?
