In addition to make disctclean issues, it seems to me that using the
xsubpp consistent with the installed Perl interface is a good thing. I
think that there are checks of interfaces compatibility in xsubpp/Perl,
but still, my feeling is that xsubpp is somewhat part of the Perl
interface.
