Hi, until some months ago, almost all radio Websites had holes enabling us to download, witch was needed with the dismiss of rss feeds. Sadly they now all are protecting their Websites. I've planned to ask yt-dlp to manage this (<https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues>) but feel free to do it if you're at ease with this!Date: Sat, 17 Dec 2022 19:32:31 +0000 From: Paolo Dista <jd9scs3@proton.me> To: "bug-wget@gnu.org" <bug-wget@gnu.org> Subject: missing something to download mp3 files from host Message-ID: <9otoDvfsk_L136oIpaJC3Yj-Je5yTdtZvPeviSiyhbAckVMctcvTYO8xbwjkBPoEC365Jd_Qkd4PMbvlkoLajczk6gRVYsfxkr4LEbL-SWk=@proton.me> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 Hello, I am trying to download all the radio programmes from this page: https://www.radiofrance.fr/personnes/gilles-deleuze with: wget -r -l 1 -H -nd -np -A '*.mp3' -D media.radiofrance-podcast.net https://www.radiofrance.fr/personnes/gilles-deleuze In vain.
The Internet is more and more becoming a bunch of closed apps where initial tools will be more and more useless. I think that a way should be found to mix Wget and yt-dlp, because having so much different tools is confusing(I should write a Webpage, in true HTML, about this, with tools comparaison, in the same spirit than this old one, I miss this wiki: <https://web.archive.org/web/20131123041435/http://www.cdr-pays-brest.infini.fr/index.php/Navigateur_internet>) but sadly I guess it should generate too much problems, including heaviness at first.
